Ingredients
- 3 Lbs Pork Butt
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 small Onion
- 2 stems cilantro
- 1 Tsp Goya Adobo
- 1 small tomato
- 1 Tsp Cumin
- 1/2 tsp. Oregano
- 2 Tsp salt
- 2 Sprigs Cilantro finely chopped
- 1 pack Goya Sazon with Achote
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 small red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 small yellow bell pepper, chopped
- 2 Tbs Bazodee® Marvelous Marinade
Directions
- Cut pork into cubes and season with Bazodee™ Marvelous Marinade, cumin. Adobo and oregano
- Cover and marinate for 1 – 2 hours (the longer the better)
- Dissolve Goya seasoning cube in 1 cup of hot water to make stock
- In large saucepan cover pork with water and Goya stock
- Add garlic, onion, salt and cilantro
- Cover and boil until very soft and tender (approximately 2 hours)
- Remove pork from liquid and let cool (keep some water for flavoring)
- Strip pork
- In large pan heat olive oil and add shredded meat and a small amount of the seasoned loo add Adobo and Cook for about 15-20 minutes on medium heat - add salt if necessary
- Garnish with cilantro and chopped bell peppers

- Flank steak can be used instead of Pork Butt
- To shorten time, meat can be cooked in pressure pot
